The ones that got the vision to make this possible

Rhythm Singh

Chair of Board

Hello everyone, I am Rhythm and I am looking forward to serving the Young Minds Eye (YME) organization as the Chair of Board this year. I have been involved with YME since its incorporation and currently working on growing our social media and website presence along with fundraising efforts within the community. Having immigrated to Canada when I was 9 years old, I have had my share of problems trying to settle in and find a place for myself within the Canadian education system and know a little extra support can go a long way. YME’s mission resonates with me personally and motivates me to keep working towards change everyday. My interests involve reading, cooking new cuisines and exploring the nature around me!

Tina Huynh

Chair of In-branch Expansion

Hi everyone, my name is Tina and I am so excited to continue serving as the Chair of In-branch Expansion this year. I am looking forward to growing both our Talk Buddies and Young Minds Academy Program. Coming from a developing country, I am always passionate about creating opportunities for future generations to learn and be successful. With our mission of YME, I hope we continue growing strong and helping more students in the near future. On the side, I work most of the time, but during my downtime, I enjoy going for a walk, collecting leaves during the fall and playing with the snow. You just need to dress yourself well enough, so you can enjoy the beautiful view of nature.

Srijan Nath

Chair of Out-branch Expansion

Srijan is currently pursuing his Master of Applied Science in Environmental and Applied Science Management at Toronto Metropolitan University, after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Sustainability Science at Concordia University. He serves as Chair of Outbranch at Young Minds Eye, where he leads outreach and social media initiatives to expand the organization’s educational impact. Alongside this, he has worked as a Geotechnical Technician and contributed to climate justice and community engagement projects across Canada. With a passion for research, teaching, and sustainability, Srijan aims to bridge science and community solutions, while also enjoying music as a personal pursuit.

Kesia Muthuthotatil

Young Minds Advisor

Kesia Muthuthotatil is currently pursuing her MSc in Epidemiology at the University of Alberta. She currently serves as the Head Director of Outreach and Recruitment. In this position, she recruits volunteers, organizations, and schools for our many programs/events, and spreads awareness of Young Mind’s Eye across Canada. Kesia joined this organization because she believes in the importance of providing resources to students that enable them equal access to education and help them flourish in their abilities and studies. In her spare time, she loves to volunteer, read books, go on walks, and enjoy the scenery of Edmonton.
